Well here we are again, the
final week of the half term and the first term in school this year is coming to
a close. A few reminders for this week:
· The children will be
having their Christmas lunch this Monday.
· The KS2 Christmas
parties are taking place on Tuesday and all children have been placed in groups
and have been allocated something to bring in for their party.
· We have some special
visitors coming in on Wednesday ...
· Friday is our Carol
service
The Year 3/4 Production
Well to quote Ceasar from the play, “you
were fabulous darlings’. The staff in
the 3/4 team are so proud of all of the children. The performances which they put on were
brilliant and many comments have been made about how ‘professional’ the shows
were. Every single child in Year 3 and 4
should give themselves a pat on the back because they made this year’s
Christmas production unforgettable. Well
done everyone - but don’t rest yet because Year 3/4 will be performing one of
the songs from our production in the Carol Service on Friday!
Core sessions this week will be based on a Christmas
theme as we want to make sure that the children are all smiling during the
exciting build up to Christmas. We will
still be working hard though and will be having a very productive week.
RE
Children
will be finishing off their RE topic based on the time of the Church’s year
which is currently Advent. They will
continue to prepare for the coming of Christmas and remembering the true
meaning of the season.
