We had a very busy and exciting week leading up to Easter.

The children leaned about the Easter story in class and through watching the Easter Service led by Mrs Long's class,  Well done to all the children you were superb and only prepared for the service over a week.  The singing was beautiful and those children who had lots of lines to learn you really worked hard to learn them all.  No body made one mistake and the lines were delivered with clarity and full of expression.  The dancing was very moving and the girls learned it in two days! I am very proud of all of you, well done!

The Easter Gardens were all amazing and so creative well done to all the children who took part!  It was impossible to choose the best as they were all so clever.

Next week the children will have their end of Spring 2 assessments.  They will have a Maths paper, a Spelling, grammar and punctuation paper and a reading paper.  Their writing will be assessed using recent pieces of independent writing.

We will all go on our trip on Wednesday where the children will be taken back in time and treated like a real evacuee for the day.  The will learn about the role of the Air- raid wardens and learn some traditional WW2 songs.  Should be an exciting experience they will all remember.

The Kingswood meting will take place next Tuesday in Mrs Long's room and the children will finish that day for the Spring holidays.  After the holiday we will give them their final project on our summer term topic..'Water'.
Spellings, x tables and reading will continue as usual and this Friday we will add some more maths tasks onto My Maths.

Have a good week!
