What a wonderful week in Kingwood!

The children have had an amazing week on their residential trip. Every single child has learned so many new skills. They have all taken part in a variety of activities which has challenged them and given them the opportunity to work as a team, be resilient, be aware of the environment, gain in confidence and make new friends.
The children have all had a go at pushed themselves, facing their fears and showing a determination to overcome them. They have help each other and their behaviour has been outstanding even at bedtimes! They are a credit to St Vincent's. It has been a pleasure to take them away.
Despite the adverse weather conditions which were challenging at times, the children and staff have had a brilliant time. Thank you to all the staff who gave up their own time to make this trip possible.

We are looking forward to sharing our stories and picture with the other children. We are also excited to hear how the Y3 children got one with their work on the River Mersey.

Next week the Y4 children will deliver a presentation about their trip. Certificates will be awarded to the campers of the week!

We will begin researching Monet for our Art lessons linking with the topic of water. In Science we will be investigating the changing state of water.

English will be more poetry about monsters.

Y4 will do time in Maths.
Y3 will look at Fractions.

There will be a spelling test on Friday where the children will repeat the spellings from their assessment before the holiday.
The projects are also due in on Friday.
It will good to be back together as a team next week.

Please check the Twitter feed on the website for photos of the trip.
